Basic Introduction to Bullet Trajectory - Roanoke, VA 07/11/2017

This one day workshop is designed to introduce personnel to the basics of bullet trajectory and the techniques associated with determining and photographing the prospective flight path of bullets. Students will also be taught how to assemble and utilize a kit used to chemically test potential bullet holes for the presence of lead. This workshop does not qualify its attendees as experts in this field.

This course will be limited to 12 students and is restricted to personnel from Virginia Law Enforcement Agencies.

This workshop will be taught by the Forensic Training Section at the Virginia Department of Forensic Science’s Western Laboratory location at 6600 Northside High School Road, Roanoke, VA., from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
